Directions
Arrival by car
- • Possibility 1: coming from the Autobahn,
for example from Hamburg or Rendsburg- Exit at exit B76/B503 in the direction of Eckernförde/ Olympiazentrum/ Flughafen Kiel/ Universität. (0.3 km)
- Stay left and drive onto B76/ Olof-Palme-Damm. (2.5 km)
- Exit at exit in the direction of Kronshagen Nord/ Kiel Zentrum and stay left. (0.2 km)
- Turn left onto Eckernförder Str (1.3 km)
- Turn right onto Johann-Fleck-Str. (0.6 km)
- Turn right again onto Olshausenstr. (0.4 km)
- Turn left onto Leibnizstr. You have to drive through a gate. You will pass the UNI-Bibliothek (Library) on the left. Behind it is the Physics center. (0.3 km)
- • Possibility 2: coming from the north (B76),
for example aus Eckernförde- After you pass the Nord-Ostsee-Canal (across the large bridge), take the exit in the direction of Kiel-Steenbek/ Projensdorf/ Suchsdorf. (0.2 km)
- Turn left at the traffic light onto Steenbeker Weg. (0.9 km)
- At the fuel station, turn right onto Torfmoorkamp. (1.4 km)
- Turn left onto Leibnizstr. You have to drive through a gate. You will pass the UNI-Bibliothek (Library) on the left. Behind it is the Physics center. (0.3 km)
- Possibility 3: coming from the south (B76 or B404),,
for example aus Plön oder Lübeck- In Kiel, stay on B76 (direction Eckernförde).
- Take the exit in the direction of Kronshagen Nord/ Kiel Zentrum and stay to the left. (0.2 km)
- Turn left onto Eckernförder Str.. (1,3 km)
- Turn right onto Johann-Fleck-Str. (0.6 km)
- Turn right again onto Olshausenstr. (0.4 km)
- Turn left onto Leibnizstr. You have to drive through a gate. You will pass the UNI-Bibliothek (Library) on the left. Behind it is the Physics center. (0.3 km)
Arrival by train
Take the train to the Kiel station (Hbf). From the platforms, go out the main entrance in the middle if you would like to take a taxi.
If you would like to take the bus, go out the exit to the left. All bus routs stop directly outside of the train station. Go to the bus stop D1 across the street and take bus line 82 in the direction of Botanischer Garten.. Ride until the bus stop Universitätsbibliothek (University library). The physics center is found on the left side a bit further up the street.
